GENERAL CLEANING AND CARE
Routine Cleaning: Mix a solution of mild soap and water. Using a soft sponge, scrub the mixture onto the cutting board in a circular motion. Rinse immediately with pure water, then dry.
Alternative Cleaning: With a soft sponge, gently scrub a weak solution of 1 teaspoon of bleach and 1 quart of water in a circular motion. Rinse immediately with pure water, then stand board up to dry.
Odors and Stains: Generously sprinkle regular table salt over the entire surface. Using a sliced lemon, thoroughly rub the salted surface. Rinse immediately with warm water, then stand board up to dry.
Oiling: Apply oil to a paper towel. Wipe oil over the entire surface and let sit out overnight. Use a damp cloth to remove any excess oil.
Our light-colored natural cutting board is made of wood from the latex-producing rubberwood tree. It is a dense hardwood that is naturally-resistant to moisture, molds, and fungus. Most boards also feature a perimeter groove to channel runoff liquid and optimize cleanup.

No, our grids and cutting boards are custom-made to fit our sinks. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that our grids and cutting boards will fit sinks that are not made by René.
